Mum and me Uncle used to follow them around in early 60's... so me Mum reckons Wyman had the hots for her... think she was about 15 at the time so probably right....
Decent band ... and could do the biz live.... Sympathy for the Devil is an absolute classic

I used to work with Bill Wyman's son back in the 90s, he was going out with Mandy Smith's mum whilst Bill was with Mandy. Anything goes in the 90s !

The last half decent album by any of the iconic British groups of the 60s was probably the Kinks 'State of Confusion'.
That was back in 1983. After 34 years we should all probably accept there isn't going to be another one.

Best album for years, really enjoyed it, plus Clapton plays on 2 tracks, just because he was next door recording something of his own and popped in.
Not over produced, just sounded like they were having fun.

It's quite good, probably best not to overthink it - it's just some old blokes who knocked up an album of covers in a few days. It's half decent. If you dont like the Stones or get upset that white people are doing 'black' music then it's probably not for you, so why did you read this thread?

Run out of energy and ideas so they are just copying black music, The Blues once againn just how they started in the 69s.
Totally unoriginal are overated.

Exile on Main St was possibly their greatest work but generally I didnt like the Mick Taylor Stones - too many looooong guitar solos. More of a pre-Let it Bleed fan: Short dancy stuff. Thats why I was so ready for Punk
